CANV needed volunteers to stuff bags for seniors… and Soroptimist International of Napa members and guests made their way to the CANV warehouse Friday September 9, 2022 to do the job!

Taima Broadhead, volunteer coordinator for CANV said the ladies packed 300 plus bags for seniors “faster than the National Guard”!  Work was completed in less than an hour! Now that’s teamwork!

Debbie Goodman, Membership chair, inducted newest member Mary Rountree during today's business meeting.  Leigh Krieger sponsored Mary and Cheryl Payan has been assigned her mentor. Mary is new to the Napa area with family in the area and comes to us from the Sacramento  area. She has a strong background as an educator and Professor.  Welcome Mary!!

New member Pamela Gumns was inducted at the November business meeting, 2021! We welcome Pam as a Soroptimist with her Sponsor, Colleen Soares and her Mentor, Teresa Zimny.

New to Napa as of 2020, moving from Indiana, Pam is mother to two adult sons and the grandmother of two.

She shared that she has past experience with Soroptimist as a past Ruby Award Winner from SI Illiana- which means she is an amazing woman doing great things for women and girls!

Soroptimist is celebrating 100 years improving the lives of women and girls!  And the Napa club is celebrating 82 years… and needs your help!
