President Leigh Krieger led Soroptimist International of Napa’s  monthly Business meeting virtually via Zoom today April 21, 2020… thank you to Debbie Peralez for hosting!  It was a successful meeting with many topics covered.  We unfortunately voted to cancel the Annual Women’s Awards Banquet and the annual Service/Life Member luncheon – due to the uncertainty of the Corona Virus.  Also with a heavy heart, the annual Lobster Fest has been canceled for 2020 that was to take place in October… plans are to  try to reschedule for spring 2021. 

“Orchestrating Success” was the Slogan for Soroptimist International of Napa’s President, Teresa Zimny this fiscal year and the successes were clear at The Annual Awards luncheon in June at Embassy Suites!

Applications are now being accepted for the Annual Live Your Dream: Education and Training Award for Soroptimist International of Napa.  This award is for women  who are Head-of-Household, have financial need, have been accepted or enrolled in a college or trade school and are motivated to make a change in their life for themselves and their family.

Just in time for 2018 Graduates, Soroptimist International of Napa announces a new scholarship for graduating senior girls called the The Future is You! 

Head Coordinator of Get to the Point!, Andrea Knowlton, announced a rescheduling of the program from Saturday June 24, 2017 to Friday January 26, 2018.  "Ticket sales were not aligning with our expectations.  Feedback we are receiving is that a Saturday in June is a difficult for most people's schedules, so we are refunding those who have purchased tickets, or they may keep their tickets for the new date." 

Soroptimist International of Napa’s Women’s Award banquet and Life Member luncheon was a beautiful event led by President Cheryl Payan, April 25, 2017, at the Elks Lodge in Napa and was attended by  Soroptimist Founder Region Governor Pam Parker, District III Director Joy Swank, District III Fellowship Director Fawn Williams and District III Live Your Dream Director Brenda Crandall.
