Soroptimist International of Napa

Soroptimist was formed in 1921 in Oakland, California, at a time when women were not permitted to join service organizations. Our name, loosely translated from Latin, means best for women. Today, we have about 30,000 members and supporters in countries across North America, Latin America, Africa and the Pacific Rim.  

We are in the Founder Region in one of five federations that make up Soroptimist International, which has clubs in more than 120 countries throughout the world. 

Soroptimist International of Napa was chartered over 83 years ago and is still improving the lives of women and girls in our community!

Soroptimist Holiday Giving!

Join us in empowering local women and girls who have faced significant obstacles by donating to our grant programs!

Your contribution will directly fund initiatives that foster economic independence, creating a brighter future for our community.

From November 15th – December 31st you can find us in CanDo’s Give!Guide Napa Valley, an online community of over 60 local non-profits serving Napa County. Donations can start as low as $10, and every dollar helps!
