Soroptimist Intl of Napa is accepting Grant Applications Empowering Women and Girls
Soroptimist International of Napa’s Vice President, Leigh Krieger, announced this week that the Grant Application process is now open to nonprofit health and human service organizations or individuals who work to improve the lives of women and girls in Napa County.
Applications are now being accepted for the Annual Live Your Dream: Education and Training Award for Soroptimist International of Napa. This award is for women who are Head-of-Household, have financial need, have been accepted or enrolled in a college or trade school and are motivated to make a change in their life for themselves and their family.

Soroptimist International of Napa announced that the Annual Live Your Dream Award Applications are now being accepted for 2018. Deadline is Nov. 15, 2017 to receive completed applications and two reference forms.
In an intimate meeting, Soroptimist International of Napa’s new Board of Directors was installed at Norman Rose restaurant in August 2017. Brenda Roberts was the Installing Officer for the new Board which includes Tamie Frasier (Napa County Tax Collector) as President, President – Elect Teresa Zimny and Vice President Christy Michelle Hotard. Head Coordinator of Get to the Point!, Andrea Knowlton, announced a rescheduling of the program from Saturday June 24, 2017 to Friday January 26, 2018. "Ticket sales were not aligning with our expectations. Feedback we are receiving is that a Saturday in June is a difficult for most people's schedules, so we are refunding those who have purchased tickets, or they may keep their tickets for the new date."
